Fischergasse

In Fischergasse, a small street near Krems Stadtpark, one tall, massive building seems to support another smaller colorful structure and its overgrown rose garden. How many generations have walked within these walls? How many have already seen this view? Dissolved ink, gouache and graphite all draw attention to the deep roots that these buildings stand upon.

This series was created during my 11-week residency in Krems, Austria (AiR Lower Austria).
